Bitcoin News is a news startup. The website was developed in WordPress by a developer without any designers on deck. The co-founders quickly realized a design overhaul was necessary to grow the business into the next stage, which is where I came in to work closely with the co-founders and the developer.

Problem

A news website built without any design considerations. Limited to an outdated WordPress template, Bitcoin News desperately needed a redesign to have a shot at contending with it's industry leaders.

Chris Bergens

Chris is a 34-year-old software engineer living in Austin, Texas. He discovered Bitcoin in 2015 and has quickly learned cryptos and NFTs were a waste of time and has only been focusing on Bitcoin. Chris stays up-to-date with the latest developments in the Bitcoin world and participates actively in online communities. He values financial independence and privacy, which Bitcoin offers him.

Client's key objective are to increase site traffic, user engagement, and revenue streams through a redesign. The main constraint is preserving the brand equity while still revitalizing the brand.
